What is a mobile music classroom?
Harmony Road Music School comes directly to your child’s school, daycare or other facility in the Vancouver area with group music classes. The classroom can be set up quickly and operates within your child’s schedule. Our Harmony Road teachers bring everything necessary for the class so all your child has to do is have fun and learn.
Exploring Music offers piano lessons for kids 4 to 8 years old
Would you like your child to learn to play piano?
Exploring Music is a 4-week introductory group music class with emphasis on piano and keyboard. Each class is 30 to 45 minutes and class size is held to 10-15 children so each child will get plenty of personal attention and interaction with the teacher.
Children will learn the fundamentals of music
- Singing
- Solfege (Do, Re, Mi)
- Ear training
- Rhythm training
- Note reading
- Theory
- Keyboard geography
If there is an interest to continue after the 4 weeks, more group classes can be scheduled as the completion of Exploring Music often leads to traditional piano and keyboard group classes.
Our more advanced classes continue to build on the foundation that Exploring Music creates and in just 2 years of study, students become familiar and comfortable with 6 different keys.
